4. What do I wear?

Classes

Most people dress "smart casual" with some being more casual and some being more smart. The most important thing is to be comfortable when dancing. The most important thing is to be comfortable when dancing.

A pair of shoes with leather type soles are fine. Trainers are not suitable for dancing. Ladies sandals are not ideal to start with either – toes do get trodden on!

Dance Evenings

There is no official dress code for our regular Dance Evenings. Most people wear smart casual but some couples take the opportunity to dress up a bit more with the lady wearing a dress.

Special Events

Our Summer Event and Christmas Dance are "black tie and posh frock". For gentlemen this can be a dinner suit or a dark suit with a tie.
