May Social - King Charles Waltz After a few weeks of learning and practicing this new dance to celebrate the Coronation the school performed it for the first time. We were very impressed. Summer Party 2018This year's summer event was totally different to any of our previous years with a visit from Richard Marcel, the celebrity choreographer. He certainly knew how to get the party started. We had two excellent workshops with Richard and none of us will ever forget a very special evening. Thanks to Adrian Forrester for some of the images.

Anniversary Dance EveningBelieve it or not 2016 is the year we celebrate ten years of Dance Classes! We started out in March 2006 and our Summer Event seemed the ideal time to celebrate. Summer Dance EveningFor our Summer Event this year we were delighted to wlecome back Warren & Kristi Boyce together with Glenn & Kayleigh. It was a brilliant evening with some stunning show dances from both couples. The finale was particularly emotional, reducing some grown men to tears!!

Dance Evening with Warren & Kristi BoyceOn 4th May we were delighted to welcome back Warren & Kristi Boyce together with their son, Glenn Boyce and his dance partner Kayleigh Andrews. Both couples performed some spectacular show dances with a grand finale of a Slow Foxtrot danced together. As usual it was a wonderful evening which will be long remembered by all who were lucky enough to be there.

Jubilee Dance EveningA Jubilee Dance was the obvious choice for our summer event this year on the 60th Jubilee Celebration Weekend. Warren and Kristi Boyce - Special EventOn 2nd July we held our summer event with our special guests Warren and Kristi Boyce who are IDU World Champions, all time record six times British National Amateur Champions and reigning British National Professional Ballroom Champions. Alton Towers WeekendA group of our dancers joined us for a dancing weekend at Alton Towers. The weekend was organised by Paul and Shirley Donahey who have their own dance school based in Manchester.As you can see from the photos it was a brilliant venue and we all had a very enjoyable weekend mingling with stars from "Strictly". Vincent and Flavia On 24th July we had the honour of a visit from Vincent and Flavia who performed three show dances. Vincent also danced a beautiful slow waltz with Linda.Everyone had the opportunity to chat to Vincent and Flavia, get an autograph and have a photo taken.The evening was reported in the Shepshed Echo, the Huddersfield Examiner and in a national magazine "YOURS" VIDEO: Linda and Vincent

"Pink" Week - Breast Cancer Awareness WeekTo support Breast Cancer Awareness Week we had a "Pink" week and raised £70! Glenmore Centre Open DayAn excellent turn out of pupils gave a demonstration of Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Square Tango and Rock and Roll as part of the Glenmore Centre Open Day on 4th October.
